Energy Drinks - Beware

Energy drinks are usually loaded with sugar. It is indeed a testimony to the power of advertising that sugar-laced drinks such as these can be fobbed off on a gullible and trusting public in the name of energy and health. Sugar may give us short-lived energy but at what a price?

According to Dr Yudkin . . .

`If only a fraction of what is already known about the effects of sugar were to be revealed in relation to any other food additive, this material would promptly be banned.' (Dr. J. Yudkin., Sweet and Dangerous, p.5).

Here are some all-natural alternatives. For best health, and for best results, please remember to "chew" every mouthful before swallowing.

HEALTH DRINK RECIPE 1: Add 20 grapes, 10 finely chopped dates, 2 tsp of Nature's Choice Energy Plus, and one apple or ripe pear to a blender and whisk till smooth. Drink immediately.

HEALTH DRINK RECIPE 2: Blend together 2 tsp of Nature's Choice Energy Plus and 1 glass freshly-squeezed orange juice. Drink immediately.
