The HIV Aids Foundation of Southern Africa (HAFSA) is a subsidiary of the National Institute Of Home & Life Sciences (NIHLS) - a government registered not-for-profit organization. (See above for NPO number).

The primary aims and objectives of the Foundation are as follows:

a) To help HIV sufferers to extend their lives and to improve the quality of their lives by keeping their immune systems healthy . . .

b) To give Aids babies and orphans a fair chance in life through responsible and compassionate care . . .

c) To reduce the global incidence of abandoned babies.

d) Public health education.
